Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data on the following legal bases under UK GDPR:
(a) Performance of a contract - we need your name, email, phone, address and game participation data to administer your entry, evaluate picks, determine results, and pay out prizes. This is the primary basis for most processing.
(b) Legal obligation - we retain certain transaction records (such as payment references, amounts and dates) as required by HMRC and applicable tax regulations. In practice this means keeping records for up to six years or such longer period as may be required by law.
(c) Legitimate interests - we may use pseudonymised or aggregated data to improve our games and services, and to communicate with you about your active game entry where strictly necessary.
(d) Consent - if you have opted in, we may send you WhatsApp, SMS and marketing communications about future games, offers and selected partner promotions. You can withdraw this consent at any time.
How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data to: process and confirm your game entry; evaluate your picks against match results and determine whether you have survived each round; notify you of round results, eliminations, carry-forward events, and prize wins; pay out prizes to winners; communicate game-critical information (e.g. knockout round pick requests for postal entrants); respond to enquiries and support requests at our discretion; comply with legal and regulatory obligations; and (with your consent) send marketing communications about future competitions and selected partner offers.
How and When We May Share Your Data
(a) Third-Party Service Providers - we work with third-party service providers who process data on our behalf, including payment processors, database and hosting providers, email delivery services, and website infrastructure providers. We do not sell your personal data. Where you have given consent to marketing, we may share your contact details with carefully selected partners for that purpose. Some of our service providers are based outside the UK. Where data is transferred internationally we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with UK GDPR.
(b) Where Required by Law - we may share your personal data with law enforcement agencies, regulators, courts, other government authorities or other third parties where we believe necessary to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation, or otherwise to protect our rights or the rights of any third party.
Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. Following account closure or the conclusion of all competitions you have entered, we retain your data for a further six years (or such longer period as may be required by law or legitimate business purpose) for legal, financial, and compliance purposes, after which it is securely deleted. Game participation records (picks, results, and outcomes) may be retained in anonymised or aggregated form indefinitely for statistical and product improvement purposes. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us here. We will action valid deletion requests subject to our legal retention obligations.

Marketing and Communications
Transactional communications - emails and notifications about your active game entry (round results, elimination, prize notifications, and administrative emails) - are sent on the basis of contract performance and do not require separate consent. If you have opted in to marketing communications - either during account registration or by subscribing via the mailing list form on our website - you may receive optional communications about future competitions, early access offers, and other marketing communications from us or our carefully selected partners, via email, SMS, WhatsApp or other channels. These may include offers, promotions, and information about products and services we think may interest you. You can unsubscribe from optional marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any such email, or by contacting us here.
